Graystone Real Estate Implements Policy to Pay Buyer’s Agents in Response to NAR Changes
Attention Agents:
As the Broker of Graystone Real Estate, I want to ensure that all buyer agents are aware of the recent changes implemented by the National Association of Realtors (NAR). In response to these changes, Graystone Real Estate has decided to implement a new policy that will greatly benefit our industry partners.
Effective July 1, all our listings will include a commission offered to buyer’s agents. We believe this approach benefits all parties involved – the buyer, seller, buyer’s agent, and seller’s agent. This policy ensures that properties are marketed to the most active and broadest network of agents, incentivizing them to show our listings to potential buyers. This will lead to a more efficient and effective sales process for everyone involved.
Your role as an agent is crucial in this new policy. By including a commission in your listings, you ensure that properties receive maximum exposure and attract motivated buyer agents. This proactive approach aligns with our commitment to providing exceptional service and fostering successful transactions.
To further emphasize our dedication, we are issuing this press release to inform all buyer agents that they can confidently show our properties knowing that their efforts will be compensated. We anticipate that other companies will follow our lead, setting a new standard in the industry.
Even though we can’t show commissions in the MLS, agents will adopt the doctrine of placing them on their website. This ensures transparency and continued motivation for buyer agents.
This policy will also lessen the impact on all types of buyers, who might otherwise lose representation or have to come up with more funds.
