How much do I get paid?

The referring agent will receive $750 for a single-family home. Multi-family owners will receive $750 for the first door and 25% of the current/projected rent for each additional unit.

Example: Triplex with each unit renting for $1600

• 1st door: $750
• 2nd door: $400
• 3rd door: $400
• Referral to agent: $1550

How/when do I get paid?

• You will be paid when the client signs the management agreement.
• You will send an invoice to marylyn@graystoneig.com that includes the referred property address and the landlord’s name.
• The invoice attached must have the Brokerage’s information, as the check will be made out to the Brokerage.

How do I refer someone, and what are my responsibilities as a referring agent?

• As a referring agent, we expect a warm introduction from you, the client, and Marylyn.
• If Marylyn is unable to get a hold of the client, you must be willing to engage with the client and encourage them to complete the onboarding process.
• Our preferred way of sending referrals is through Savvy Card; simply scan the QR code and hit the “share” icon!

What happens if the client backs out?

If the client backs out anytime before completing six months of the management agreement, you will need to reimburse Graystone PM the referral fee you received minus any income collected on the property.

Example: Client backs out after three months

• Referral fee paid was $1000
• Income GPM made off of the client was $500
• Agent would reimburse GPM $500
