Graystone’s Referral Program: Exclusive for GRE Agents! How do I refer someone and what are my responsibilities as a referring agent? As a referring agent, you are expected to make a warm introduction between yourself, the client, and Marylyn. If Marylyn is unable to contact the client, you must engage with the client and encourage them to complete the onboarding process. The preferred way of sending referrals is through Savvy Card. Simply scan the QR code and hit the “share” icon. How/when do I get paid? You will be paid when the client signs the management agreement. The agent will send us an invoice, and the payment will be made to the account registered with Graystone. You do not have to send an invoice to accounting; Marylyn will attach and send your invoice when we process your payment. What happens if the client backs out? If the client backs out anytime before completing six months of the management agreement, you will need to reimburse Graystone Property Management the referral fee you received, minus any income collected on the property. Example: Referral fee paid was $1000 Income GPM made off of the client was $500 Agent would reimburse GPM $500 How much do I get paid? For a single-family home, the referring agent will receive $1000. For multi-family properties, the referring agent will receive $1000 for the first door and 25% of the current/projected rent for each additional unit. Example: Triplex with each unit renting for $1600 1st door: $1000 2nd door: $400 3rd door: $400 Total referral to agent: $1800 Graystone Property Management thanks you for your partnership!
